Five Years of Cheesecake Magic
Five years ago this month, The Cheesecake Club was born – and what a journey it’s been! It all started on Valentine’s Day with my very first subscription delivery: a batch of Strawberries & Cream luxury cheesecake tubs, lovingly made and hand-delivered. What should have been a simple trip quickly turned into an unforgettable adventure (or should I say, misadventure!).

Juggling Sleepless Nights & Cheesecake Dreams
Back then, I was working nights at a local supermarket, meaning my days were spent sleeping, making fresh cheesecakes, and delivering them – a balancing act that sometimes felt like a chaotic dance. My first delivery day? Let’s just say it was an experience I’ll never forget!
I got lost. Repeatedly. Wrong turn after wrong turn, I somehow managed to end up down a country lane, miles from where I was supposed to be. And then came the real panic – my petrol gauge hit 0 miles left with no petrol station in sight. Sheer dread kicked in as I realised I had no idea where I was. Would I have to abandon my handmade cheesecakes in the wilderness?! (Spoiler: I made it through, cheesecakes intact!)
A World in Lockdown
Just weeks after launching The Cheesecake Club in March 2020, the world changed overnight as the Covid pandemic sent us into lockdown. It was a challenging time for so many, but it also highlighted just how much joy a simple dessert could bring. Seeing my fresh cheesecakes brighten people’s days – whether as a treat for themselves or a gift for a loved one – reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.

Fast Forward to Now…
Things have changed a lot since that chaotic first day. While I no longer offer subscriptions, The Cheesecake Club has evolved into something even better – a place where you can enjoy my luxury cheesecakes at markets, events, or as a one-off treat for celebrations, weddings, or just because you need cheesecake (because let’s be honest, that’s always a good reason!).
Through it all, one thing has remained the same – your love for handmade cheesecake and the incredible community that has grown around it. Every market, every order, every message from you lovely lot reminds me why I do this.
